Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for someone to join our team and play a key role in helping to develop and execute the early marketing efforts for an enterprise software startup.

You will play a key role in the development and deployment of the marketing plan for our customer advocate SaaS product. You will be working with a small team of dedicated developers, products design & development professionals. You are an excellent communicator both in person as well as online. This position will also involve monitoring and growing our social media presence with tools like Tweetdeck, Hootsuite, WordPress, and other tools you see fit to manage our presence and campaigns effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a marketing strategy for emerging solutions supported by key action items
  • Develop and execute a social media strategy aimed at improving our brand presence with key target segments and increasing our organic search results;
  • Manage the company profile on our Blog, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook, etc. by updating content, joining relevant groups and discussions and constantly seeking new ways to leverage these tools
  • Help define and measure success; provide weekly summaries and monthly detailed reporting of all areas of responsibility, demonstrating new ideas, things learned, results and ROI
  • Contribute to the marketing strategy and work with the team to make it happen
  • Produce content for external communication & inbound markeing including product videos, press releases, boilerplates, blog posts, screencasts, SlideShares, whitepapers, etc.
  • Identify specific marketing opportunities in the customer advocate and mareksector that would relate to our solution
  • Develop marketing collateral to assist and enhance the sales process, including multimedia materials, website and brochures
  • Marketing event planning
  • Conduct webinars
  • Assist with marketing and administrative tasks as they arise

Requirements

  • Recent Graduate of College or University with Business Diploma or Bachelors of Commerce (BCom)
  • Eligible to work in Canada (E.g., a Canadian citizen or permanent resident)

Desired Skills

  • Marketing experience with social media
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Marketing & B2B Sales
  • Previous experience in a software company would be an asset

Education and Experience

  • Recent Graduate of College or University with Business Diploma or Bachelors of Commerce (BCom)
  • Graduate with relevant work experience related to position is preferred
